The Canadian Insurance Services Regulatory Organizations (CISRO) has published the Principles of Conduct for Insurance Intermediaries (The Principles Document) that provides guidance for Insurance Intermediaries to help ensure the fair treatment of customers in the life, health and property, and casualty insurance sectors.
The Principles Document outlines minimum regulatory conduct standards and common regulator expectations for all insurance intermediaries. You can view the Principles Document using the button at the bottom of this page.
We, Advocis Broker Services Inc. being a RIBO’s licensee confirm our abidance by the RIBO Code of Conduct that meets the expectations as set out in the Principles Document.
In addition to the Principles Document, RIBO has developed the Fact Sheet to help customers better understand what they expect from RIBO license holders. The RIBO fact sheet can be also be found using the button at the bottom of this page.
